Sr. Content Marketing Strategist Responsibilities…

As a story teller on the Product and Investment team at Principal®, words are your tool to build trust and relationships with clients and prospects. Working closely with other writers, research, marketing, and designers, you’ll be working on a wide range of content.

Content will include but not limited to conversational responses, stories, dialogues delivered through multiple channels, i.e. websites, direct, presentations. The content you’ll write and edit covers a wide range of investing topics and retirement products offered by Principal.

Job Opening – Sr. Communication Strategist at Principal

Retirement & Income Solutions at Principal is looking for a Sr. Communication Strategist to join the team! In this role, you will drive the development and deployment of marketing strategies and integrated communication programs to promote the company’s brand image. The Sr. Communication Strategist will collaborate with cross-functional teams on strategic planning and results.

Additional responsibilities may include:
• Digital/ Content Marketing: Lead development of digital strategy and drive content strategy, development and execution across all marketing channels.
• Strategy: Direct integrated marketing communication programs, strategies and staffing in alignment with business unit goals.
• Leadership: Direct a team responsible for creating high-impact communication strategies to meet business unit objectives.
• Project/ Resource Management: Manage projects/resources to accomplish marketing communication objectives in an effective and efficient manner.
• Team Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, and serve as liaison between the business, IT, digital resources, and marketing to lead large-scale marketing campaigns.
