Put a Feather in Your Cap

We’re currently looking for Iowa’s elite to showcase their talent in IABCs 2010 Bronze Quill Awards!  Hurry now – the deadline of Feb. 3 is fast approaching.

The Bronze Quill recognition program is a great opportunity for professional growth and acknowledgment from colleagues in the communications field. The program not only recognizes your work, but also ranks it against your peers, increases your credibility in the field and at work, and demonstrates your communication creativity and strategic planning skills.

Todd Murphy, corporate communications supervisor for SHAZAM in Des Moines knows firsthand what it means to be a Bronze Quill award winner. “My team works extremely hard, and it was exciting to receive recognition on their behalf through the Bronze Quill program. There’s no better reward than having your peers tell you you’re doing a great job.”

Every communication project or campaign is a potential Bronze Quill award winner—no matter how small or seemingly common. Even everyday communications can contain a spark of excellence. If you and tie your work to a business need, identify specific objectives, and can back up your work  with measurement—you could be a winner.

IABC/Iowa’s Bronze Quill Award program is open to all communications professionals including agencies, nonprofits, corporations and freelancers. IABC members receive a discounted entry fee – so join IABC on or before the submission deadline to benefit from member rates. For details on membership, contact Ann Leonard
